Description

Structural Glass Railing by Craft-Bilt

Craft-Bilt has created an attractive topless glass railing system for those customers who want the look of pure invisible glass.

Frameless Glass Railing

At Craft-Bilt, we’re big on testing and over-designing our products. Testing has shown that our ½” thick glass combined with our new structural glass channel greatly surpasses the load requirements of the building code. The building code does not only require horizontal loads, but it also requires vertical loads as well.  Other glass adapter systems use two small screw ports with a stamped metal support plate. Our system uses four #10 screw ports, especially plated screws and 1/4″ thick CNC aluminum caps to support the combined weight of the glass and the vertical loads of the building code.

We’ve designed strong beefy side channels that utilize a roll-in glazing spline to contain the incredibly strong ½” thick tempered glass. There are other systems that use ⅜” thick glass, but at Craft-Bilt we know you’ve come to expect only the best and safest railing for your family. Get the invisible glass railing you can rely on. A beautiful railing system for your home to be sure, but this system also has excellent commercial uses such as windbreaks for outdoor restaurant seating.

Our heavy-gauge glass adapters allow you to attach 1/2″ tempered glass panels to your wood posts or columns. Craft-Bilt Structural Glass Railing has even been used indoors. Create a modern look for your home’s interior.
