Craft-Bilt 4-Track Stacking Windows in Black, installed floor-to-ceiling in an existing A-frame sunroom structure at a rural Niagara, Ontario property overlooking open farmland.

Project Details

The homeowners had an existing A-frame structure they wanted to fully enclose as a three-season room. The knotty pine vaulted ceiling, ceiling fan, and pot lighting were already in place. They needed windows that would frame the open countryside view without competing with the warm wood interior.

Craft-Bilt 4-Track Stacking Windows in Black were installed around the full perimeter, with floor-to-ceiling panels on the walls and gable-following panels at the peaked end. The 4-Track system stacks the panels vertically, opening the walls completely when the weather allows and closing tight against cooler evenings and Niagara region rainfall. Black frames tie into the exterior cladding and roofline, giving the structure a cohesive, intentional look from outside.

Inside, the windows fill the pine-ceiling space with light and keep the countryside framed in every direction. The rural property sits beside open farmland and meadow, so there is something worth looking at from every seat. The natural wood ceiling and wide glass panels make the room feel like it is part of the landscape rather than separate from it.

Craft-Bilt windows are Canadian-made and built to handle the full Ontario seasonal range. Installed by Niagara Sun and Shade Inc., this project shows what 4-Track Stacking Windows can do inside an existing structure. No rebuild, no new framing. The windows go in and the space transforms into a proper three-season room.
