Nova Sunrooms filled the wall openings of a builder-framed porch in the New Glasgow area with the Grand Vista wall system, featuring 4-track stacking windows, glass transoms, and a Black aluminum frame.
A local builder in the New Glasgow area framed this porch structure and finished the interior with a stone fireplace before the Grand Vista system went in. With the structure and stonework complete, Nova Sunrooms filled each wall opening with the Grand Vista wall system.
Grand Vista is a Canadian-made aluminum wall system built for three-season outdoor living. Each opening received 4-track stacking windows: four independent sashes that operate vertically, stacking at the top to open nearly 75 per cent of the glass area for ventilation. Glass transoms above each window section bring in extra daylight and add visual height to the enclosure.
The Black aluminum frame runs through every component of the installation. The colour coordinates with the stone fireplace and ties together the finished porch interior.
The result is a porch enclosure that works through Nova Scotia’s spring, summer, and fall. The stone fireplace extends the comfortable season on the cooler evenings when the temperature drops after dark. Windows open fully in the warm months and seal tight when the weather requires it.
